Magdalena "Maggie" Powell

Maggie Powell joined the firm in 1997 as its Firm Administrator. She brought with her over a decade of experience with the Texas Department of Public Safety and several Austin and Corpus Christi law firms where she had been employed as a stenographer, legal secretary, legal assistant and office manager. Ms. Powell coordinates Powell & Leon events and participates in the Association of Legal Administrators.

 

Kelly R. Bowen, Certified Paralegal

Kelly Bowen joined Powell & Leon in 2004. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Texas A&M University in 2001 and received her Paralegal Certification and her certifications from the National Association of Legal Assistants in 2007. Ms. Bowen is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants, State Bar of Texas Paralegal Division and the Capitol Area Paralegal Association.

 

Megan J. Johnson, Legal Assistant

Megan Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music in 1991 from Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio. She is a recent addition to the Powell & Leon team and was previously a Sales Associate and Assistant Manager of a Coldwell Banker Real Estate office in Kingston, NY for eight years, where she also established a mortgage consulting service. Ms. Johnson provides administrative support and assists in the preparation of materials for presentations and hearings.
